Turnberrie's philosophy is to strengthen our community by providing a public place where all local people can associate with each other. By holding Special Events we are on our way to achieving this.

Easter Holiday Fun for Everyone!
If you're looking for fun activities for all family and friends this Easter Holiday then come to Turnberrie's - there will be plenty to see and do!
Monday, 11 April 2011 - MUSIC WORKSHOP WITH DAN FROM FUNKY PUNK | 10.00 am - 11.00 am
Put the fun back into music! Come and try various different musical activites....Bring your own instruments if you have one, but not essential. Ages 5 - 11 yrs £3.50 per child
Tuesday, 12 April 2011 - MULTI SPORTS SESSION | 10.00 am - 12.00 pm
Come and have a go at a range of different sporting activities to include football, dodge ball, badminton, short tennis, mini hockey and more. Ages 5 - 11 yrs £4.00 per child
Thursday, 14 April 2011 - EASTER ARTS & CRAFTS | 10.00 am - 12.00pm
Paint, glue, stick and create your own arts and crafts for Easter and then enjoy a Turnberrie's Easter Egg hunt! (Weather permitting). All ages £4.00 per child
Friday, 15 April 2011 - EASTER DISCO & HAT PARADE COMPETITION | 2.00 pm - 3.30 pm
Come and dance at our Easter disco and enter our hat parade competition. Decorate your mate with a chosen theme, Easter, pirates, monsters and our DJ will judge the winners! Ages 5 - 11 yrs £ 3.50 per child

Get Singing for Spring!
Phillipa de la Haye of Get Singing Thornbury is running a one off harmony singing workshop at Turnberrie's on Saturday, 19th March, 2.00 - 4.30 pm
All ages and abilities welcome
Suitable for anyone who enjoys singing
Fun, relaxed atmosphere
Evrything taught by ear, no music to read
£5.00 per person (£2.50 for under 18's)
Pay on the door, no need to book
Children welcome, but must be accompanied by a participating adult. There will be a short break during the session and the cafe will be open to sell drinks and snacks

Weekly Community Singing Group for Thornbury
Every Tuesday evening during term time starting back on 11 January 2011 7.30 – 9.00pm, Turnberries Community Centre in the Cafe.
All abilities welcome – relaxed atmosphere - No music to read
£4.00 per session, no need to book
Older children welcome, half price for under 18s

Thornbury Community Garden - Re - Open to Public in Spring
The Community Garden, situated next door to Turnberrie's is open everyday to the public, from morning till dusk. The main entrance is on Upper Bath Road. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the relaxing experience the garden offers!
